Its funds were utilised to organise 17 events and trainings for young people on various important topics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Opening and recognition <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Open Space for Youth opened its doors to the public in 2012 with the aim of diversifying leisure activities for young people. In 2019 the space re-opened at the new location and now offers even more creative activities. Visitors can play board games, read books, reserve the space for meetings, use special equipment. They had the opportunity to learn public speaking, subtleties of body language, to participate \u00a0in time management exercises, to learn about leadership, stress management, graphic design, photography. They are &#8220;not compulsory, but very interesting, practical and increase employability&#8221; \u2013 said Laura Plakyt\u0117, the participant of the trainings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\" style=\"border-color:#8ed1fc\"><blockquote><p>&#8220;Training encourages thinking, teaches you how to achieve your life balance and goals, to clarify what you really want.&#8221;<\/p><cite> \u2013 \u0160ar\u016bnas Liulevi\u010dius, one of the participants <\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/382394962313407\/\">Youth Book Club<\/a> was organised as one of the main activities. The Youth Book Club and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/2967568869942698\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mommy meetings<\/a> will continue, as well as training in website and graphics design and other activities aimed at improving the situation of young people in the labour market.
